Are you getting notes of plum? This wine is made exclusively from foraged damsons so you should do! Damsons are no mystery to the average outdoor enthusiast - no doubt featuring in many a homemade jam, gin and pie this year - but rarely does the form get pushed. It's very easy whacking a load of fruit into a bottle with some gin, and although the results are always delicious, we want to show how versatile this native fruit can be. A simple wine, made exclusively from hand-picked, wild damsons, without a grape or orchard in sight! We've aged this for a while to allow the flavours to mature and it certainly delivers - notes of plum won't be a surprise to you here, but there is a richness to the wine that makes is very drinkable.
