Our 'Forage & Cook' workshops surged in popularity in 2023, with pretty much all of them selling out well in advance. As well as our full day events, we also trialled running shorter sessions, allowing more people to join us finding, identifying and gathering wild ingredients before cooking them into a hearty meal as a group.

Duration: 3 hours

What to expect: 2 hours will be spent finding, identifying and gathering ingredients. This will then be followed by 1 hour of cooking, preparing and eating the harvest! Expect a focus on 5-10 specific ingredients, which will then be incorporated into 1 or 2 simple dishes, designed at showcasing each respective ingredient effectively. There will also be a wild tipple (soft alternative also available) served to the group and perhaps some 'table toppers' that your tutor will have made in advance to enhance the meal, such as a wild kimchi, a foraged ketchup or homemade seasoning.

Suitable for: Considerations must be taken for those with mobility issues - please get in touch to discuss. Whilst children are welcome on these events, it is recommended that any child attending is over 12 years old and that for each individual child attending, they must be accompanied by one paying adult. No previous foraging experience is required for this event.

Did you know? Our printed paper vouchers are made from recycled industrial waste. We aim to be as low-impact as possible, so this feels like a better solution compared with more traditional sources of printing material.

Vouchers are issued as a physical printed card and are posted on a weekly basis. All voucher fees include printing, packaging and Eventbrite admin fees, so you can rest assured that your loved ones will not have to pay any hidden fees when redeeming their voucher codes (if used by the end of 2024)

To redeem a voucher, please browse our workshops page to find a date that works for you then simply enter your voucher code at the Eventbrite checkout. All workshop details, terms and conditions can be found on the specific event listing. Please note that our vouchers are non-refundable and, although an event transfer may be possible to another date in some instances, they should be used wisely with good planning.

PLEASE NOTE: This voucher is for our 2024 events, so is valid from 1st January 2024 onwards. Whilst they do not have an expiry date, it is advised that they are used by 31st December 2024 when prices may increase or changes of format may take place. Any vouchers that have not been redeemed by the end of 2023 can still be used in 2024, but will require the difference in price being paid at the checkout.
