A full day spent finding, identifying and gathering wild ingredients before cooking them into a hearty meal as a group. This format is popular with those looking for a more comprehensive experience, offering us the chance to showcase a range of wild flavours.

Duration: 6-7 hours

What to expect: 4 hours will be spent finding, identifying and gathering ingredients. This will then be followed by 2 hours of cooking, preparing and eating the harvest. Expect a focus on 15-20 specific ingredients, which will then be incorporated into 3 to 5 simple dishes, designed at showcasing each respective ingredient effectively. There will also be a wild tipple (soft alternative also available) served to the group and perhaps a range of 'table toppers' that your tutor will have made in advance to enhance the meal, such as a wild kimchi, a foraged ketchup or homemade seasoning. Occasionally, another hour is added to the event time for wild butchery, cocktail making or another activity which may incur an additional charge (specific to each event - please read each individual event listing). Please be aware that most of our full day cooking sessions take place in spring and autumn, rather than summer.

Suitable for: This is a day spent almost entirely on your feet, covering a fair distance, often up to 5km on uneven ground, so consideration for mobility issues will be required before buying tickets. Children are not able to attend these sessions. No previous foraging experience is required for this event.

Did you know? Our printed paper vouchers are made from recycled industrial waste. We aim to be as low-impact as possible, so this feels like a better solution compared with more traditional sources of printing material.

You do not need to buy a voucher if you are attending a session yourself - simply book on whichever workshop takes your fancy!

Vouchers are issued as a physical printed card and are posted on a weekly basis (more frequently in the run up to Christmas). All voucher fees include printing, packaging and Eventbrite admin fees, so you can rest assured that your loved ones will not have to pay any hidden fees when redeeming their voucher codes (if used by the end of 2025)

To redeem a voucher, please browse our workshops page to find a date that works for you then simply enter your voucher code at the Eventbrite checkout. All workshop details, terms and conditions can be found on the specific event listing. Please note that our vouchers are non-refundable and, although an event transfer may be possible to another date in some instances, they should be used wisely with good planning.

PLEASE NOTE: This voucher is for our 2025 events, so is valid from 1st January 2025 onwards. Whilst these will still be valid in 2026, it is advised that they are used by 31st December 2025 when prices may increase or changes of format may take place. Any 2024 vouchers that have not been redeemed by the end of 2024 can still be used in 2025, but may require the difference in price being paid at the checkout.
