I want to learn to forage - how can Forage Box help me?

Great to hear! You can learn to forage with one of our experts on one of our workshops which are available in a wide range of formats and timeframes to suit everyone. You can find all available dates on our workshops page. You can read a guide to our workshop formats by clicking here.

Are your foraging workshops suitable for me?

All of our workshops have been designed to allow the widest range of people to join in - please see individual event listings for full details on whether your chosen event would be suitable. Have a read of this guide for more information.

Do you sell vouchers?

Yes! We sell vouchers for our foraging workshops, which can be found by clicking here. Once you've got your voucher code through the post, simply enter it at the checkout and the voucher balance will be removed from your total. Please note that codes can only be entered one at a time so you will need to make separate, individual transactions if looking to make multiple bookings. We do not currently sell vouchers for our online shop but this may be set to change in the future. Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

Can I run foraging events at my venue please?

If you have a suitable venue, we'd love to chat to you about running some foraging events on your site. Simply get in touch using the contact form and we can discuss how events at your site might work. It might be anything from a short 2-hour walk or a full restaurant takeover - we want to work with you!

Can I bring my dog?

Please check the individual event listing to find out the dog policy for that specific workshop. Some venues and formats do not allow dogs to attend. Should dogs be permitted, they must be on a lead at all times and must not affect the enjoyment of others (e.g. excessive barking or jumping up).

Can I bring my child?

Our Taster and Forage & Nibble workshops are suitable for all ages and child tickets are priced accordingly. Whilst our Forage & Feast events do welcome children, we recommend that they are over 12 to ensure they get the most from the experience. Same goes for our half day Forage & Cook events (the full day versions are not suitable for children). Please see specific event listings for more information. Infants under 5 are often welcome, but we recommend that you do not bring them in a pushchair due to the terrain of where we generally take our groups - again, it's best to get in touch if you have any queries about the suitability of the terrain, format or experience for your child.

I have a dietary requirement or allergy - are your workshops suitable for me?

Yes! We are able to cater for all dietary requirements, so please do not think your preference or allergy is a barrier to you joining us. When completing your ticket purchase, you will be asked to enter your dietary requirements. Please note that the more notice we receive, the more chance we have to create something just as special for you!

Are the workshops accessible?

Accessibility varies by location. Many workshops involve uneven ground, inclines, and varied terrain. Check the listing or contact us to confirm suitability.

Do workshops run all year?

Workshops run year-round, with peak season from April to October.

Who are the tutors?

We work with 10–15 trained tutors across the UK. Each tutor is experienced, fully briefed, and supported by the ForageBox team.

Is everything you stock really all wild?

Yes! We avoid using farmed ingredients, barring certain ingredients such as sugar, and ensure that everything is always as wild as possible. We believe that foraging is a better way to source food, find bolder flavours and we always pick from ethical and sustainable sources.

Are your products vegan-friendly and suitable for those with dietary requirements?

We don't identify as a 'vegan company' as such, but all of our products tend to be vegan. The same goes for most common dietary requirements - most of our products are simply plants or fungi. Do check on the product information to be sure though!

When will my order arrive?

Outside of busy seasons (Christmas mainly) our dispatch days are Tuesdays and Fridays, so providing that the order is in before the evening before and there are no postal issues, you should receive your order a maximum of a 4 days after ordering, with most being delivered on either Wednesday or Saturday. Our parcels are always sent out with overnight delivery and can be tracked via the delivery company’s website.

Who delivers my order?

We currently use Royal Mail to try to guarantee an overnight delivery.

What is the best ‘safe place’ to have my box left if I am not in?

We recommend a friendly neighbour. Alternatively a cool porch or outbuilding is the next best option. It is really important that your box is not left somewhere it can get wet or baked by the sun, so doorsteps tend not to be the best place for our drivers to leave them. Due to the recommended storage of our products, we are unable to allow the parcel to be returned to us so it'll always be delivered on the first attempt.

What is the latest opportunity to order in time for Christmas 2026?

The latest order time for guaranteed Christmas delivery is 15:00 on Friday 18th December 2026. Anything ordered after this time will probably be delivered in early January 2027.
