You will probably have already heard that Jim has handed over the reins of Forage Box to some bloke called Gavin. Well this is me!
I’ve been a foraging teacher for quite a long time and have my own company called Found Food. There won’t be any major changes for you, but if you want to get to know me a bit more, then read on...

What will change?

• Well for starters, Jim isn't going away. He's going to continue to run workshops for Forage Box in the North West of England, he just won't be the main contact or owner of the company any more.
• Our sister company, Found Food Ltd will open up their range of foraging related books, ebooks, and online courses for Forage Box followers.
• That's about it for now.

What won't change?

• The high standards of customer service and tutor quality that Jim has worked so hard to build up.
• The prices! all workshop prices have been frozen for 2026!

Who the hell is Gavin?

Well, I'm a former Soldier, Hill & Moorland Walking Leader, Bushcraft Instructor Teacher, and long-time forager. Like Jim, I'm a member of the Association of Foragers and governed by their rules and recommendations, and like Jim I'm a strong believer in customers first, tutors second, company third.

I run foraging, bushcraft, and wild cocktail workshops in Wales and the Marches (that's the bit of England running up the Welsh border), and I have been busy creating a range of foraging books, eBooks and online courses which you can see at foundfood.com

I love wild food, wild drink, and wild medicine, and it is my mission to share that with anyone willing to listen. I look forward to seeing you all out there!
