Is it really all wild?
Yes! We never use any farmed ingredients and ensure that everything is always wild. We believe that foraging is a better way to source food, find bolder flavours and we always pick from ethical and sustainable sources.
What makes Forage Box unique compared to other food subscriptions?
Forage Box is exclusively wild ingredients. There aren’t many foragers out there, so we hope this unique service will add something different to dinner plates across the country. Unlike a lot of wild food suppliers, we are 100% against using single-use plastics, over-harvesting sites and buying ingredients from miles away when they grow locally. We are picky about what goes in our boxes and will never go for the easy or dull option.
Are your products vegan friendly and suitable for those with dietary requirements?
We don't identify as a 'vegan company' as such, but all of our products tend to be vegan. The same goes for most common dietary requirements - most of our products are simply plants or fungi. Do check on the product information to be sure though!
When will my box arrive?
To maximise our harvesting efficiency and sustainability, we send all our Monthly Forage Boxes out at the same time, which is usually on or near 15th of each month. They are always sent out with overnight delivery and can be tracked via the delivery company’s website. Everything else from our online market is delivered from Tuesday - Thursday.
Who delivers my Forage Box?
We currently use DX to guarantee an overnight delivery. The only exception to this is if your delivery address falls within Forage Box HQ’s local area, in which case it will be hand-delivered by one of the Forage Box team!
What is the best "safe place" to have my box left if I am not in?
We recommend a friendly neighbour. Alternatively a cool porch or outbuilding is the next best option. It is really important that your box is not left somewhere it can get wet or baked by the sun, so doorsteps tend not to be the best place for our drivers to leave them. Due to the freshness of our products, we are unable to allow the parcel to be returned to us so it'll always be delivered on the first attempt.
I am a producer and have something that would be a great addition to Forage Box - How do I get in touch?
Brilliant! We are always on the hunt for new products to include in our boxes and know how talented wild food producers often are. Please use the ‘Contact Us’ menu option above to let us know a bit about your product so we can discuss this further.
How do I share my recipe with the Forage Box community?
Simply log on to your favourite social media account to tag your recipe using #myforageboxrecipe and this will automatically appear on our recipe feed here on the website! In the future, we hope to have a proper database using the creativity of the Forage Box community, so get cooking now!
How do I pause my subscription?
To pause your subscription, sign into your customer portal (click "Login" in the menu), select "Cancel Plan" and from there you can choose how long you'd like to put it on hold for.
Can I cancel my subscription?
If for some reason you are unhappy with your subscription, please do let us know via the ‘Contact Us’ page and we will do everything we can to resolve any issue. If you still wish to cancel your subscription, you can do so by signing into your customer portal (click "Login" in the menu) and selecting "Cancel Plan".
